This Privacy Policy explains what information Septillion Agency collects when you visit septillion.website, contact us, or become a client, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our website or service, you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

Septillion Agency ("Septillion", "we", "us", "our") is a student-owned web design studio based in Bangladesh. We design, host and maintain websites for small businesses on a monthly subscription. You can reach us through the methods on the contact page.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to provide and improve the service.

• Contact details you share when you book a call, message us on WhatsApp, email us, or chat through the in-page chat widget — typically your name, business name, email, phone number and the contents of your message.
• Project information you provide while we build and maintain your website: logos, photos, copy, brand assets, customer testimonials, pricing and login details for third-party tools (domain registrar, Google Business Profile, social accounts, payment processors) you choose to connect.
• Account & billing information needed to invoice you — business name, billing address, and the last four digits / expiry of the payment method held by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Website usage data from this site (pages visited, approximate country, device type, referring site, time on page) collected with privacy-friendly analytics to help us understand which content is useful.
• Booking and chat data from third-party tools — Cal.com when you schedule a call, and Crisp Chat when you use the chat widget. Those tools store the messages and metadata you submit through them.
• Server logs like IP address and request time, kept for short periods to defend against abuse, debug issues and meet legal obligations.

What we do with it

• Reply to your messages, schedule calls, and run your project.
• Design, launch, host and update your website on the agreed subscription.
• Send service-related updates (renewal reminders, downtime notices, important policy changes).
• Invoice you and collect payment through our payment processor.
• Improve our own website, content and the work we deliver.
• Comply with our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not send marketing or promotional emails to people who haven't asked to hear from us.

Legal bases (EU / UK visitors)

• Contract — to provide and bill the subscription you signed up for.
• Legitimate interests — to keep the site secure, prevent fraud, and improve the service.
• Consent — for optional analytics cookies and any marketing communications you opt into.
• Legal obligation — to keep tax, accounting and similar records.

Who we share it with

Only the third-party tools ("processors") we need to run the service, under agreements that require them to protect your data:

• Hosting & deployment — to serve websites we build for you.
• Email — to send and receive client correspondence.
• Cal.com — to schedule discovery and project calls.
• Crisp Chat — to power the live chat widget on this site.
• Payment processor — to take subscription payments. They handle card details directly; we never see your full card number.
• Analytics — aggregated, privacy-friendly usage stats on this site.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Septillion, our clients or others. We never share data with advertising networks.

International transfers

Our team operates from Bangladesh and uses tools hosted in the United States and the European Union. If you are outside those regions, your data may be processed there. We rely on the privacy terms of the providers we use to protect your information during transfer.

How long we keep it

• Active clients — for the duration of your subscription.
• After cancellation — a reasonable period for accounting, tax and legal records (typically up to 7 years for billing data).
• Marketing leads — until you ask us to delete the conversation, or up to 24 months of inactivity, whichever is sooner.
• Anonymized analytics — may be kept indefinitely as it does not identify you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to records we must keep by law.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing.
• Receive a copy of the data you've given us in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.

Cookies
